about the artist

Iris Xing studied and worked in New York City, she is currently based in Beijing, China; She got MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media at School of Visual Arts. She does photography, video, installation, food art, performance etc. Her work play with the utopia in her mind with overly bright colors and lovely visual forms and. Her work has been exhibited at The Armory Show, Aperture Gallery New York, International Photography Festival London, National Museum of Romania, and other places around the world. Her work has been published in “College Photography” and “China Visual Art Yearbook”.
